Race Area & Course

Racing will take place on Lake Wittensee. The course to be sailed can be found in the sailing instructions or on the notice board

Eligibility & Entry

The event is open to International Moth Class dinghies. All competing helms shall be members of the German Moth Class Association or in the case of  competitors from other countries they shall be members of their local Moth Class Association or IMCA

Races

A maximum number of 12 races is planned. Three races must be completed to constitute a series.
If five or more races are completed a boat’s series score will be the total of her race scores excluding her worst score.

If ten or more races are completed a boat’s series score will be the total of her race scores excluding her two worst scores.

Entry fee

60,-- € until 1st of Juli. Late entry fee 80,--€.

Entry fee includes dinner on Friday and Saturday.

Sailing instructions

The sailing instructions will be available at registration in the race office.

Further information (insurance and advertisement)

The sailing instructions can be changed by the race comitee. Changes will be announced on the notice board.

Buoancy aids must be worn at all times except briefly while adjusting clothing or personal equipment.

Coach boats are not allowed on Lake Wittensee due to its nature reserver status.

No boat shall race unless the boat is currently insured for third party risks to the minimum sum of EURO 3,000,000 per incident (or its equivalent in any other currency) and such insurance shall be valid for the helmsperson who will be racing her.

By participating in the Moth Euro Cup Act 3, IMMAC Moth Cup, competitors automatically  grant to the O.A. and their sponsors, the right in perpetuity to make, use and show, from time to time at their discretion, any motion pictures and live, taped or filmed television and other reproductions of the athlete during the period of competition without compensation.

Social Program

A Barbequeue is planned for Friday evening after racing and dinner on Saturday. Both are included in the entry fee for competitors.

Breakfast will be offered for 3,50€ on Saturday and Sunday - please book breakfast on the online entry-form (Kommentar/annotations).
